On August 15, 2008 Caroline (Care) Cranston, at 24 years old, was diagnosed with leukemia. In high school, Care played lacrosse for West Chester Henderson and continued her lacrosse career at Duquesne University. On May 8, 2010 she passed away after fighting for 21 months. All proceeds will be given to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS), as well as a scholarship in Caroline's name. In 2009 we raised $8,000.00 for the LLS and we plan on raising much more this year. Our mission is to bring the lacrosse community together and to raise awareness for this terrible disease.

Each year in the United States, about 2,000 children and 27,000 adults are diagnosed with leukemia. The Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) donates 74% of its funds to cancer research and is currently funding 400 scientists worldwide.

The tournament will be held on five fields at West Chester Henderson High School, including two turf fields. Games will be 50 minutes in duration and played according to U.S. Lacrosse Women’s and Men’s rules at a cost of $600 per team.
